Basic Hosting Usage Policies

Server with WHM and cPanel

These recommendations exist to keep your website secure, stable, and operating properly, as well as to protect all websites hosted on the server.

  1. Proper Use of Hosting

The service is designed to host:

  • Websites
  • Email accounts
  • Applications related to your domain

The server may not be used for:

  • Sending unsolicited bulk email (SPAM)
  • Hosting illegal content
  • Distributing viruses or malicious files
  • Engaging in fraudulent activities
  • Running programs that consume excessive server resources

If an account negatively affects server performance, it may be temporarily limited until the issue is resolved.

  1. Email Account Usage

You may use your email accounts for normal communication with clients and contacts.

To avoid service restrictions:

  • Do not send bulk emails without recipient authorization.
  • Do not use purchased mailing lists.
  • Do not share your password.
  • Use strong passwords.

Excessive email sending may trigger automatic restrictions to protect the server’s reputation.

  1. Website Security

Keeping your website updated is extremely important.

If you use WordPress, Joomla, or another platform:

  • Keep everything updated (core system, plugins, and themes).
  • Remove unused plugins.
  • Do not install pirated themes or plugins.
  • Use strong passwords.
  • Perform regular backups.

Most website compromises occur due to outdated or pirated software.

  1. Security Certificate (SSL)

Your website must operate under HTTPS (security lock icon).

This:

  • Protects information
  • Builds trust
  • Improves your ranking on Google
  1. Proper Resource Usage

Shared hosting is designed for standard website usage.

It must not be used for:

  • Mass storage of personal files
  • Uploading movies, software, or large downloadable files
  • Running automated processes that overload the server
  1. Backups

It is always recommended that you maintain your own backup copies of your website and email accounts.

Although the server may include automatic backups, it is best practice to keep your own copies.

  1. Our Objective

These policies are not intended to restrict you, but to:

  • Keep your website secure
  • Prevent email blocking
  • Reduce hacking risks
  • Ensure stability for all clients

If you are unsure about any configuration or installation, it is best to consult before making changes.
